Una nuova mostra personale alla galleria Weber & Weber, l'inaugurazione si terrà giovedì 14 settembre

Sentieri di giunco è il nome che ho pensato per questa serie di paesaggi perchè in origine questo tipo di vegetazione mi ha ispirato molto. Il mio lavoro in effetti si origina in luoghi naturali dove sentieri, staccionate, recinti e confini rappresentano un microcosmo geografico che forma la visione del mio paesaggio. Mi piaceva l'idea di sottolineare il mio segno a bastoncino con cui lavoro da sempre e inoltre il giunco da quel senso di geometria e ordine che mi rispecchia anche quando è rappresentato nel groviglio o nel disfacimento. L'idea di lavorare sul paesaggio e la natura non sono quindi nuovi per me, ma hanno trovato un nuovo vigore circa tre anni fa con il lavoro che ho intitolato Jack London perché in quel periodo lo stavo leggendo e perché alcune sue visioni rappresentavano una matrice per uno scenario selvaggio. Alcuni di questi paesaggi sono stati realizzati a cavallo di maggio, il mese dell'alluvione nella città dove vivo (Cesena) e per me contengono appunto questa lotta implacabile tra l'ordine e la natura.

Rushed paths is the name I thought for this series of landscapes because originally this type of vegetation inspired me a lot. My work actually originates in natural places where paths, fences, fences and borders represent a geographical microcosm that forms the vision of my landscape. I liked the idea of emphasizing my stick sign with which I have always worked and also the reed from that sense of geometry and order that reflects me even when it is represented in the tangle or in the unraveling. The idea of working on the landscape and nature are therefore not new to me, but they found a new vigor about three years ago with the work I titled Jack London because I was reading it at that time and because some of his visions represented a matrix for a wild scenario. Some of these landscapes were made at the turn of May, the month of the flood in the city where I live (Cesena) and for me contain precisely this relentless struggle between order and nature.
